TEAM STEM
"Teamwork is the ability to work together toward a common vision. The ability to direct individual accomplishments toward organizational objectives. It is the fuel that allows common people to attain uncommon results." - Andrew Carnegie
STEM is a team effort. Participation is as much about learning to build a team as it is about learning to build a project, so Sylvania STEM Center is a collaboration-focused organization first and foremost. Teams consist of eight members on a mission to learn, practice and compete through a variety of competitive STEM programs.

MEETINGS
Teams meet approximately twice a week for a total of 3 to 5 hours. Each team’s coaches determine time slots as well as communicate any pertinent information for their individual team. The Coordinators or Director will provide STEM center communication. Teams are encouraged to utilize the STEM center's modern facilities for robot games and engineering but are open to meet in any location for to work on their project/innovative idea. Interviews with experts are generally at the STEM center or the expert’s location.
